商学院对于新生的要求也是高于学校基础学科
比如UIUC基础学科对于TOEFL的要求是85，但是商学院要求在100+
这种情况下如果对商科申请没把握考虑基础专业经济学
其次，要适应商学院课程，在正式进入专业学期之前要完成先修课程，宏微观经济学，微积分，统计，会计原理等
之后是核心课程，商业分析，市场营销原理，金融管理，进入分析，计算机金融，运营管理，全球战略管理等
